Attraction of female breasts
Men and women’s breasts, a love story that has existed since humans were human and which has never changed for centuries! But why such a craze?
For millennia, these feminine attributes have been valued, whether in the Old Testament or in Western, Asian and Middle Eastern literature. The attraction of men for breasts also finds its source on several levels.
It is for example a question of the unconscious memory of the maternal breast that babies suckle. This is believed to be linked to the secretion of oxytocin during breastfeeding, known to be nicknamed the “love hormone”. Thus, the attraction of men for the female breast would have something innate. On the other hand, there is also the influence of the cultural and religious factor, whose differences (in particular in clothing) can accentuate or decrease this attraction.
This attraction is also the result of omnipresence, whether in literature, cinema, art or even advertising! The multiple representations from the Renaissance until today have only reinforced the fact that the breasts are often considered as the first symbol of femininity. For decades, when we want to promote products intended for a male clientele, a female muse – if possible with a rather large chest – has been used.
Breasts and Sexuality
From a purely sexual point of view, it should obviously be remembered that this part of the body is an erogenous zone not to be forgotten during the act, especially as regards the foreplay. Women do seem to enjoy the attention, at least at the right moments. When Roy Levin, of the University of Sheffield, and Cindy Meston, of the University of Texas, polled 301 people — including 153 women — they found that stimulating the breasts or nipples enhanced sexual arousal in about 82 percent of the women. Nearly 60 percent explicitly asked to have their nipples touched. Men are generally pretty happy to oblige!
It is also possible that large breasts are seen as a source of good health for some men, who see it as a positive factor in the birth of future children. There would also be other considerations, such as the fact that they are able to disturb men and make them make bad decisions, in short a kind of danger which is also a source of excitement.
